Won a bronze medal at the 2010 World Rowing Championships in the 1000m single
skulls (his first international regatta). Although ill and injured through much
of 2011, was able to place 8th at the 2011 World Rowing Championships and
qualify a boat for the London 2012 Paralympic Games. Continues to train hard
with a goal of regaining a spot in the New Zealand Rowing Team and selection for
London 2012.
