metres in a time of 1.58.21.
Cycling - Susan Reid has finished in 8th place in the H1-3 Women's Road Race in

Sophie
Pascoe has won GOLD and set a new Paralympic Record of 1.00.89 in winning the
S10 Women's 100m Freestyle. Sophie has now won 3 Gold and 2 Silver medals in
London, with New Zealand winning
14 medals in total.

Full set of
Paralympic Medals for Gray & Thompson
Phillipa Gray & Laura Thompson have won silver in the Road Cycling Time
Trial in London overnight. The tandem team now own a full set of Paralympic
Medals (having previously won gold and bronze on the cycling track) and brings
New Zealand's medal tally to 13, beating the 12 medals won in Beijing four years
ago.

Paralympic Record
Sophie Pascoe has set a new Paralympic Record in the heats of the Women's
S10 100m Backstroke to qualify in 1st position for the final. Her time was
1.07.77. Sophie's final will be at approximately 5.42am (NZ Time) tomorrow
morning.

Peter Martin has completed his first three attempts in the F52-53 Men's

Cameron Leslie has won GOLD and set a new WORLD RECORD in the final of the
SM4 150m individual medley in a time of 2:25.98.

Tandem cyclists Phillipa Gray and Laura Thompson have won gold in the
Women's Pursuit beating the Irish team in the Gold Medal Final in a time of
3:32.243. Earlier in the day the New Zealander's set a new world record in the
qualification round of 3:31.530.

Michael Johnson has won BRONZE in the R4 10m Air Rifle Standing with a total
score of 704.7 (600 qualification + 104.7 final).

Tim Prendergast has qualified for the final of the T13 Men's 1500 metres in
a time of 3:57.39.

Swimming Update
Cameron Leslie has set a Paralympic record of 2:32.96 in the heats of the
SM4 Men's 150m Individual Medley to qualify 1st for the final. Mary Fisher has
also set a new Paralympic record of 1:20.89 in the heats of the S11 Women's 100m
Backstroke to qualify in top spot. Aine Kelly-Costello will join her in the same
final, after qualifying in 6th place in a time of 1:26.57. Nikita Howarth has
qualified for her first final by making the final of the SM7 Women's 200m
Individual Medley in a time of 3:13.77.

Tandem cyclists Phillipa Gray and Laura Thompson have set a new world record
in qualifying for the Gold Medal Final in the Women's Pursuit. Their time was
3.31.530, almost 5 seconds faster than the previous world record.
