Spirit of Gold Mufti Day

Intro

Support our New Zealand Paralympians!

Thursday 8 September 2016 officially marks the Opening Ceremony of the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games (NZ time) and to mark this milestone we are staging our second annual mufti day. New Zealand’s Paralympians are aiming for 18 medals at these Games, including 12 gold. As a charitable organisation PNZ relies on a mix of government funding, support from business and donations from the New Zealand public to run our elite and community programmes. Through the Spirit of Gold initiative, we have began an incredible journey awareness and national pride in Para-Sport. By taking part in our national mufti day you will help us to raise the funds we need to support our elite Para-Athletes in Rio and those who are on the road to PyeongChang 2018, Tokyo 2020 and beyond.

Want to get involved? You still can!

Paralympics New Zealand invites your school or business to “go gold” with us! Registrations for our Mufti Day are open until Monday 5 September 2016. To get involved or find out more, please contact Sarah Dance, sdance@paralympics.org.nz or +64 9 526 0760. If your school or business would like to run a Mufti Day to raise funds, but you cannot do it on Thursday 8 September 2016 – no problem at all! Please contact Sarah and she will help you set this up on a day that best suits you.
